Why ever play a live game?

Please, no ridiculous "because it's rigged online" replies. I have been playing online and actually dread the thought of sitting through a live game because of the glacial pace compared to online (Bash poker tournament excepted). Anybody playing live and preferring it? I know you have the chance to read other players, but the basic question is "Where's the money?"

At the few casinos that I have played at I noticed alot of older guys with alot of money to spare playing $1/$2 NL and throwing money away. I think that there are people that don't know or don't trust sending their money online and therefore get their fix at the poker card rooms.

There is alot of money to be made both online and in live cash games depending on your playing skill.

I like playing each though. Play only live for a few weeks and then online for a week which keeps me from getting tired of playing and in a playing "rut".

This one is easy one for me, I am a better live player than online player. If I am playing online I have something on TV or have my wife asking me questions or a bunch of other stuff going on and I am not concentrating and reading players as much. Also, there is much more turnover online than in a live game. I much prefer a live game because not only do I concentrate more but there is less turnover so I can get a better read on my competitors.
